Kitchen Privledges
For our guests that are staying in a guest room or The Bungalow we offer kitchen
privileges in the main house. If you wish to prepare your own meal vs. going out to a
restaurant we are happy to have you use the main house's gourmet kitchen. Keep in
mind that all units either have a gas outdoor grill or access to one. The two bedroom
Shawnee Suite has it's own full kitchen.
We welcome you to use our gourmet kitchen. We are a small operation and
therefore we cannot offer maid service for the kitchen privileges. To keep everything
running smoothly please consider the following guidelines: If you use the kitchen to
prepare food, please leave it the way you found it. Including, but not limited to, putting
dishes in dishwasher, washing pots & pans and putting them away, wiping down
counters or any soiled surfaces. In consideration for the guest in rooms located near
the kitchen, we have a very strict policy regarding the kitchen hours. Kitchen is
available between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Please give us advance
notice of your desire for kitchen privileges, as much as possible, so that we may
accommodate and coordinate with other guests desiring use of the kitchen. When
we have more than one guest reserving kitchen time we allow each party 1.5 hours
for meal prep and clean up.
You are welcome to dine al fresco on our beautiful deck, use our dining room or to
take your meals to your room.
When using our kitchen we require that you supervise cooking of your meals. You
may not leave the kitchen area while meals are cooking on the stove, for obvious
reasons - fire. This is for the safety of all.
There is no additional charge for this service but again we need some notice.
