Our Bridgton Bungalow Cottage sleeps no more than 4 people, including children.  The cottage has one new queen
bed.
Shawnee Suite sleeps 6 comfortably with 2 bedrooms. No more than 6 guests permitted in Shawnee.
First bedroom has one new queen bed
2nd bedroom has one double bed and a single bed - bunk style.
Living room couch converts to two separate twin beds.

All units have smoke, CO2 detection devices and fire extinguishers for your safety and protection.

Since we are a very small business we do ask that those that book our private cottages or private suites respect the fact that last
minute cancellations may leave our accommodations vacant, which is detrimental to our business.  Please be reasonably sure of
your vacation plans prior to booking.

We have a strict cancellation policy.

Deposits are required to secure and guarantee your booking.

50% deposit of entire reservation due within 7 days of booking request.  We will block the calendar immediately upon your
request but if check or credit card deposit is not received within 7 days the reservation will no longer be confirmed or   
guaranteed and open for others to book.

For bookings less than 14 days in advance.
We require a deposit of 100% (including Maine state tax) to confirm your reservation.  You may call to make your deposit
credit card or by sending a check, which needs to be received within 7 days of the booking request.  We will block the  
calendar immediately upon your request but if check or credit card deposit is not received within 7 days the reservation will no longer be confirmed or
guaranteed and open for others to book.

A confirmation will be sent to the email you provide. The remainder of your balance is due at check-in and can be paid with credit card, check or cash.

As a very small business we are greatly affected by cancelled reservations, especially during peak seasons as we block those dates for you to secure your
reservation with us.

Your deposit will be refunded less a $100.00 or value of one night stay or whichever is less, for reservations cancelled outside the 14 day window.

In the event the cancellation is received within 14 days of your arrival deposits are non-refundable.  Exceptions may be made due to serious health issues, severe
weather, etc., however this does require verification and approval from The Denmark Stage Stop House.

For weather related cancellations due to severe snowstorms, cancelled flights, medical emergencies, death in the family, etc., we will agree to modify the dates of
your reservation.  New dates are based upon availability.  For flight cancellations, medical emergencies, death in the family we require proof of the issue.
We proudly offer a 10% military
discounts for all  including active
duty, veterans, retirees, United
States military; Air Force, Army,
Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and
Reserves forces.  Military ID must
be presented at check-in for
discount to be offered - no
exceptions.
We now have Alexa in all our rooms to inform you, play music, tell jokes, update you on sports
scores for your favorite sports team, play white noise when it's bedtime and much more.  Alexa
also will play whatever music you would like - just say, "Alexa, play music" and tell her who,
genre, whatever and she will comply.
PLEASE NOTE: For guests bringing along their dog(s) we charge a $50.00 pet cleaning fee, that
is per stay, not per night and not per dog.  We regret the need to have to charge this pet fee
however our housekeeper has to deep clean for following guests that may have pet allergies.  
No more than 2 dogs are permitted in any of our accommodations.  Due to insurance company
regulations we cannot accept Pit Bulls, Rottweilers or any dog with viscous tendencies.  NO
DOGS ARE PERMITTED ON OUR FURNITURE OR BEDDING AT ANY TIME - EVER!!  We
very much want to stay pet friendly but damage by dogs as of late may have us question this
in the future, therefore we need all guests to be respectful of our rules regarding pets.
For guests bringing along their dogs(s) we also charge a $50.00 pet cleaning fee for guests bringing along their dog(s).  Up to 2 dogs
allowed.  The charge is per stay, not per dog.  We regret the need to have to charge this pet fee however our housekeeper has to do

***Regarding "Monthly Stays" - although we note that a monthly stay is 28 days due to Maine's Landlord/Tenant laws you may
certainly stay beyond that however it does require that you formally check-out and check-in on the 28th day of your stay.  We
certainly welcome you to stay longer however this is just a formality.
Please note regarding Maine Lodging tax if you are
here for an extended stay beyond 28 days.  
Maine law states, "Stays of 28 or more consecutive
days are not subject to lodging tax if the rental is
the guest’s primary residence or the guest is living
away from his or her primary residence in
connection with education or employment."  
Therefore lodging taxes may not be applicable to
your longer term stay.

All reservations require 2 night minimum stay and 3 night minimum on holiday weekends.

CASH!!  IF YOU PAY BY CHECK PLEASE DROP OFF IN MAIL BOX AT MAIN HOUSE ON DAY OF ARRIVAL.  
ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE - AGAIN THIS IS FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY.  ADDITIONALLY
WE USE SELF CHECK-IN AND INSTRUCTIONS ON CHECK IN WILL BE EMAILED TO GUESTS ON DAY OF
ARRIVAL.
